SCR is the way to go!
Daimler Trucks North America will utilize SCR to meet the EPA 2010 standards through a reliable solution called Blue Tec Emissions Technology. This proven technology will allow Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) teatment downstream from the engine, therefore reducing temperatures and back prssure on many parts of the engine. This means less component stress and longer engine life. As an added bonus, Blue Tec can improve fuel economy by as much as 5%.
